Combine two of the best Sightseeing Tours in the Canadian Rockies for a fabulous price. Join us on either the McBride or Dunster Train Tour into British Columbia on the Skeena Train and spend another day on our Wildlife Tour to see all of the sights and wildlife in Jasper!
Please provide full names & ages when booking as we require full names for VIA Rail Tickets.
McBride Train Tour
This train tour variation will have you start off from Jasper on a guided sightseeing tour and return to Jasper on the Via Skeena Train departing from the McBride Train station. Similar stops are completed on this slightly longer version of the Dunster tour, with Mount Robson ranking high on the list. Explore a little further into British Columbia along the Robson Valley with the snow capped Cariboo Mountains on one side, the majestic Rocky Mountains on the other as you make your way to the quaint McBride Train Station.
Jasper Wildlife Discovery Tour
With thousands of pristine acres and a small population, Jasper is the ultimate place to go sightseeing and to view wildlife in their natural surroundings. Join our informative wildlife tour and discover Jasper’s hidden gems all while seeking out the regions furry original inhabitants! Elk, deer, bear, moose and mountain goats are just a sample of the many wild animals roaming the park.
PLEASE NOTE: **Tours must be booked on separate days as tour times will overlap**
Join friendly local guides for an informative adventure. Our knowledgeable guides are trained to seek out all of the park’s most iconic sightseeing opportunities and creatures.
Hotel pick up and drop off is included for both tours at any hotel/accommodation within the Jasper townsite or just outside of town. We do not pickup at any campgrounds or hotels outside of the townsite. We’d recommend meeting outside the VIA Rail Station at the totem pole on the East side of the building for anyone meeting in town as there is free 24 hour parking on the West side of the building.
Unfortunately, we are unable to book dome car seating with VIA Rail.
The train portion of this tour requires valid ID, however, you do not have to worry about train tickets or tour tickets. Please let our guide know your name and they will take care of the rest!
For the Train Tour we recommend bringing camera, water, snacks and a lunch if you haven’t eaten before the train tour. Typically there are food stations on the train, however, VIA Rail has closed them due to COVID-19. Dunster Station does have a small eatery but selection may be limited at this time. For the Wildlife Tour we recommend camera, water and snacks as well!
Dress comfortably as you will be sitting on the train and bus for majority of the train tour and will be mainly on the bus for the wildlife tour with small stops to get off the bus/stretch your legs and use the washroom.
